FAQ

Estate planning is essential for several reasons. Firstly, it allows you to dictate how your assets will be distributed, ensuring that your loved ones receive their intended inheritances. Additionally, estate planning can help minimize estate taxes, avoid probate, and provide for family members with special needs or disabilities. It also allows you to appoint guardians for minor children and designate someone to make financial and medical decisions on your behalf if you become incapacitated.

Estate planning is the process of arranging for the management and distribution of your assets after you pass away or become incapacitated. It involves creating legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives to ensure that your wishes are carried out and your loved ones are provided for according to your intentions.

Our estate plans are individually developed and crafted to meet the needs of each client and family to provide for loved ones, minimize taxes, provide for the orderly distribution of assets at death, protecting assets and planning for incapacity and illness during life. Our services are bundled for best effect for each client.

All planning services are charged for on a flat-fee basis depending on the bundle chosen by the client. We pride ourselves on the time spent getting to know our clients' personal situations and wants and on depth of education we give to the client so that they can better understand the process and the law and, thus, make the best decisions for their estate plan. We also spend a great deal of time counseling our clients as to their possible choices and what might be best for them and why. We also provide free follow-up service to revisit their plan a year out to make sure that they have followed our extensive written instructions and to see if they need further help in implementing various parts of the plan.

Contrary to popular belief, estate planning is not just for the wealthy. Regardless of your age, income level, or the size of your estate, everyone can benefit from estate planning. Whether you own property, have financial investments, or simply want to ensure that your affairs are in order, estate planning provides peace of mind and security for you and your loved ones.

It's never too early to start estate planning. Life is unpredictable, and accidents or unexpected illnesses can happen at any time. By starting the estate planning process early, you can ensure that your wishes are documented and your loved ones are provided for in the event of your incapacity or passing.
